PIANKO Wins Best of Category Business Marketing Association Award

May 19, 2003 -- (WESTERVILLE, Ohio)—The Printing Industries Association, Inc. Serving Northern Kentucky and Ohio (PIANKO) was recently awarded a Best of Category award by the Columbus Chapter of the Business Marketing Association for PIANKO’s promotional and marketing material for its 2003 Leadership Conference.
“We’re very pleased that the hard work and dedication of the PIANKO staff was recognized by the BMA’s judges with this fine award,” said Mike Montooth, PIANKO’s director of marketing and communications. “Our marketing campaign drew a successful crowd for our 2003 Leadership Conference with outstanding attendance in a sluggish economy.”
PIANKO won its Best of Category award for its entry into the Integrated Communications category which encompasses a marketing campaign that consists of various elements including e-mails, print, direct marketing and Internet. The awards were sponsored by Business First of Columbus.
PIANKO’s 2003 Leadership Conference was held in Dayton on March 27-29, 2003. Held annually, the conference brings in nationally known speakers on topics that impact the printing industry in Ohio and northern Kentucky.
Judges of the BMA awards this year included professionals from the Pittsburgh chapter of the organization and all entries were judged on creative concept, clarity, cohesiveness and effectiveness.
The Business Marketing Association is the local chapter of the national Business Marketing Association, which strives to remain the primary repository of the best in business to business marketing information and resources, attract the best practitioners and promote the best practices in the industry.
