Cambridge UK; 6 May 2003: Global Graphics Software, a subsidiary of Global Graphics SA and a leading developer and supplier of high-performance solutions for document creation, management and printing, announced today that it has signed an OEM technology agreement with Enfocus, a subsidiary of Artwork Systems Group (Nasdaq Europe:AWSG) and internationally recognized as a pioneer of PDF related software. The agreement will allow Global Graphics to incorporate Enfocus technology, with the first phase resulting in the integration of Enfocus’ PitStop pre-flighting and Certified PDF technology into Jaws PDF Courier™, Global Graphics’ encrypted file submission system that allows print service providers to offer their customers secure print procurement over the Internet. Services based on Jaws PDF Courier have been successfully launched in Europe by The Netherlands-based ready4print, in Australia and New Zealand by D2P, Australia’s leading turnkey Internet and artwork delivery solutions provider, and in the US by PrismaTek, a specialist provider of systems integration services for the graphic arts market. The inclusion of the Enfocus pre-flighting and Certified PDF technologies within Jaws PDF Courier will bring an enhanced set of features to the underlying technology and will introduce a number of additional benefits to providers and users of the service that will make digital workflow systems even more efficient.
