May 1, 2003 -- (WESTERVILLE, Ohio)—The Printing Industries Association, Inc. Serving Northern Kentucky and Ohio (PIANKO) hired Thomas Caldwell as the director of membership.He was recently brought on board to head up the association’s efforts to grow membership and to serve and assist PIANKO’s current membership. “Tom’s litany of sales experience combined with his knowledge of the printing industry makes him a great fit for our organization,” said Anita Herington, president of PIANKO. “Tom will focus on getting new members while attending to the needs of current members.” Caldwell has served as a sales representative at various organizations since 1992 including Ohio Color Plate, CarPec Corp., The Anderson Group, Airtouch and Enovation Graphic Systems. “He will be involved in all aspects of the association,” Herington said, “including raising awareness of the great work our association does for its membership." Caldwell currently lives in Akron with his wife Linda and their two children. “I cannot wait to hit the ground running with PIANKO,” Caldwell said. “There’s a lot of good people involved in the association on the board and various committees and it’s going to be a great experience working with all of them toward our common goals of improving the industry’s profitability and the industry’s image.
