CHICAGO, July 25 -- Oce, a leader in digital document management and delivery technology, today appointed Joseph R. Marciano interim president of Archer Management Services. Archer is an Oce company and national leader in document management and mailroom outsourcing services. Mr. Marciano replaces Mitchell D. Weiner, who has left Archer to pursue other professional interests. "With his 23 years of experience within the Oce family, Joe Marciano brings a wealth of industry expertise and proven leadership skills to Archer," said Ronald Daly, President and CEO of Oce-USA Holding, Inc. "Joe is in an excellent position to expand Archer's delivery of total document management solutions to their growing list of clients." Mr. Marciano currently serves as president of Arkwright, Inc., an Oce company and global leader in development of high quality imaging media. He will maintain his position as president at Arkwright while Jack Heath, currently Arkwright Vice President of Operations, has been designated interim Chief Operating Officer to manage the day-to-day business and operations of Arkwright. Mr. Marciano has served as president of Arkwright since 1998, having joined the company in 1980. He has deep document imaging and printing industry expertise through his work in executive and management positions within Arkwright and Oce, including the presidency of the Oce's Imaging Supplies business from 1994 to 1998. Oce is reviewing both internal and external candidates for a permanent Archer president.
