HELSINKI, Finland, April 24 -- Stora Enso today announced that Sten Holmberg has been appointed Senior Vice President, Strategy and Investment, Paper Product Area as of 1 May 2003. He will be based in Stora Enso's International Office, London, and report to Kai Korhonen, Senior Executive Vice President, head of the Paper Product Area. Mr Holmberg, 55, is currently Senior Vice President, Finance, IT, Legal Affairs and Purchasing in Stora Enso North America. He joined the Company in 1980.
