Ray Roper, Former PIA Executive, Forms Consulting Firm

Press release from the issuing company

April 24, 2003 -- Ray Roper, who has retired after serving as President of Printing Industries of America (PIA) for the past sixteen years, announced that he and his wife, Judy, have opened a business offering consulting and other services to graphic arts companies. In commenting on his decision, Roper said, “I can’t remember a time in the sixteen years I have been affiliated with the graphic arts industry when industry executives have faced greater challenges or more difficult decisions. My sixteen years with PIA gave me some great insights into what makes a company succeed. I have had the opportunity to work with some of the most successful printers in the business, not only in the United States, but throughout the world. While I’m not a printing expert, I have gained many valuable insights from these highly successful graphic arts executives.” Roper’s wife, Judy, will join him as a partner in the business. She has many years of experience in developing and implementing sales meetings and incentive programs. She has conducted sales and incentive programs throughout the United States and also in Canada, Latin America, Europe and Asia. The firm, Roper & Roper, LLC, is located at 5903 Mount Eagle Drive, #1406, Alexandria, Va. 22303. The phone number is 703-960-5251
