X-Rite Releases Suite of Proof Verification and Analysis Software Programs

CHICAGO, ILL, —April 14, 2003—X-Rite, Incorporated, a leading global provider of technology solutions measuring color, light and shape, today introduced PrintCheck, a suite of software applications that analyze and manage color accuracy and consistency on proofs. Used primarily by printers, graphics professionals, and photographers, PrintCheck helps users maintain, access, control, and communicate color standards throughout the workflow. The PrintCheck Suite including three programs: PrintCheck Server, PrintCheck Remote and ColorShop X Analyze, will be demonstrated booth# 2448, at the Converting Machinery Materials (CMM) Conference and Exposition at McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois, April 14-17, 2003.

PrintCheck Server: Create a PrintCheck database or connect to an existing ODBC-compliant database, where multiple proofs are recorded and stored. PrintCheck Server includes remote-access and control capability, ensuring that all users have access to color data from the primary server.
PrintCheck Remote: Access to the PrintCheck server is fast and easy using PrintCheck Remote. From any PC using an Internet connection, users can access their proofs in seconds anywhere in the world. This is especially critical when operating in multiple locations.
ColorShop X Analyze: Using an advance version of X-Rite’s ColorShop X software included with PrintCheck Suite, quality control managers can review and analyze data from each proofing device to make sure that each is performing accurately and consistently meeting specific job and production requirements.
