April 18, 2003 -- Norwalk, Connecticut, USA – IPA, the association of graphic solutions providers, recently appointed Kathy McHugh, Vice President, Marketing, United States and Canada of Kodak Polychrome Graphics (KPG), to its Board of Directors.
“We are pleased to welcome Kathy McHugh to the IPA Board of Directors,” commented Steve Bonoff, IPA President. “Her management expertise and experience in the graphic communication industry will be a tremendous asset to our board.”
IPA has served the graphic arts industry for more than 100 years. It tracks, evaluates and promotes technology and management innovations to keep members in the forefront of the graphic communications industry. IPA membership includes the leading graphic solutions providers in North America.
“As a member of the board, Kathy is actively involved in supporting and promoting IPA’s mission to unite and educate providers of integrated graphic solutions by helping to develop and offer programs and services to help members succeed as they restructure their businesses and deal with the technical and management issues they face every day,” Bonoff added.
At KPG, McHugh’s responsibilities include product marketing, promotion and communications. McHugh also plays a key role in developing business strategy in the US&C and has received multiple awards and honors for her commitment to KPG and her contributions to the industry.
McHugh became Vice President, Marketing, United States and Canada of KPG in October 2000. Prior to that, she served as KPG’s West Region Business Director in Los Angeles, CA. She joined KPG after more than ten years in sales management with Eastman Kodak on the West Coast as Eastman Kodak’s Regional Sales Manager for both the Pacific North and South Regions. McHugh’s career at Eastman Kodak also included two years as a Marketing Education Specialist and three years in Field Sales in Texas.
McHugh graduated from the State University of New York, Oswego with a degree in Education. She earned her MBA from the University of California Irvine.
