Xerox to Resell XMPie PersonalEffect Software for Creating 1:1 Marketing Programs
Press release from the issuing company
On Demand Expo, New York, April 7, 2003 – XMPie, a leading provider of software solutions for creating highly effective one-to-one cross-media marketing campaigns, and Xerox Corporation, announced today that Xerox will resell XMPie’s flagship PersonalEffect software. PersonalEffect enables marketers, their agencies, print providers and fulfillment companies to leverage the enterprise’s customer information resources, such as customer relationship management (CRM) databases, to streamline the inherently complex multidisciplinary process of oneto-one direct marketing campaign development.
The XMPie software fully integrates with the native environments of direct marketers and uses a modular software design to enable easy linkage of data and business rules to designs in e-mail, Web and wireless media, and print, including output from Xerox digital color printers and presses using Creo color servers. The result: unmatched control of personalized communications campaigns — including the planning, creative process and distribution media — while reducing cost and production time.
“Perhaps the greatest challenge in developing one-to-one marketing campaigns today is the necessity to work across the traditionally separate disciplines of creative design and database management,” said Tom Wetjen, vice president, Xerox Worldwide Graphic Arts Industry Business.
“XMPie has found an innovative way to coordinate this collaboration and give managers and designers control of the workflow for developing communications programs, creative designs and business rules for personalized information content.
“We believe it is a strong enabler of profitable and effective one-to-one marketing programs that improve direct marketing response rates,” he said. “We want to offer it directly to our customers, and they, in turn can offer the creative suite to their customers to drive volumes to their production
“Xerox is the leader in color digital printers and digital presses, and the company has chosen to represent PersonalEffect to their customers,” said Michael J. O'Hara, CEO of XMPie. “We’re confident that Xerox’s customers can bring together their investment in CRM systems and digital color printers and turn these assets into highly effective and personalized marketing campaigns.”
Pricing and Availability XMPie PersonalEffect will be available immediately in North America through the Xerox direct sales force and Graphic Arts Solution Engagement Managers. Pricing begins at $23,900. For detailed pricing information call 1-800-ASK-XEROX.
