Exstream Software Hires Lynn Busing to Head Financial Services

April 3, 2003 -- Exstream Software, Inc. today announced the hiring of Lynn Busing to lead the firm's financial services corporate development efforts. Mr. Busing joins Exstream with over 20 years in executive and sales management focused on the financial technology industry. Busing will drive Exstream's initiative to enlarge its presence in the banking and financial industries, continuing the impressive success already established in gaining market leadership in this arena. Exstream has witnessed a dramatic growth in these industries over the past three years, boasting a customer list that includes such household names as American Express, Merrill Lynch, Fidelity Investments, Charles Schwab, J.P. Morgan, KeyCorp, Compass Bank, Logitaine Bank (France), Zürcher Kantonalbank (ZKB) in Switzerland, and Commonwealth Bank of Australia. Most recently, Busing served as executive vice president with Checkfree Corporation, where he was responsible for sales and banking relationships for the Electronic Commerce Division. Under Busing's leadership the division grew rapidly, gaining over 85% market share. This growth subsequently positioned Checkfree as the market leader in electronic billing and payment services in the United States. Busing also served as senior vice president and general manager of the Corporate Banking Division at Checkfree, which included solutions in cash management, wire transfer and ACH payments. "This is a significant hire for Exstream as Lynn brings a wealth of experience to support our growth in the financial services and banking industries," said Dan Kloiber, executive vice president of corporate strategy and development for Exstream Software. Busing serves on the board of Tascware Corporation, is a member of the advisory board for Gazelle Consulting, and serves on the advisory board at Alogent Corporation. He holds a master's degree in mathematics and education from the University of Evansville, Indiana, and a BA in mathematics and education from Indiana State University.
