General release of the product in the Americas markets will be in May 2003.
NEWLEAF is an extremely robust GUI-based variable document software tool for the composition of high-value personalized documents.
According to Brett Dashwood, CEO of PrintSoft Americas, “We’re excited about bringing NEWLEAF to the American market because it addresses the needs of clients and prospects who are just becoming aware of the power of variable documents. While NEWLEAF won’t replace our core product, PReS, it’s perfect for Graphic Arts companies who need an easy-to-use yet powerful tool to compose targeted marketing and transactional documents.”
NEWLEAF ingests a broad spectrum of data formats – flat ASCII, delimited ASCII, DBF, ODBC, XML, etc. NEWLEAF also accepts a wide variety of image formats and provides users with the ability to establish sophisticated conditional logic statements and outputs datastreams such as PCL, Postscript, AFPDS, IJPDS (Scitex), PDF and other formats – all in a simple ‘point and click’ operation.
NEWLEAF provides users with the ability to generate high profit document applications for print and mail, email, fax and other electronic distribution methods. PrintSoft Americas will be demonstrating NEWLEAF in booth # 3466 at On Demand.
