The latest release of WebCRD features an attractive and highly intuitive user interface, adding or enhancing over 25 productivity expanding features to further improve ease of use and control over print production, while minimizing the amount of training users require before being productive. Streamlined order placement with an advanced ability to specify binding, folding, and finishing requirements, along with a simple one-step reorder process, make it even simpler for users to submit jobs to their print center. The power of WebCRD in the print center means that these customer generated electronic job tickets will directly drive production printers, eliminating error-prone data entry.
As part of WebCRD 3.0, two automated PDF workflow options reduce/eliminate print center make ready requirements, providing solid return on investment. SurePDF™ is powered by Adobe® PDF Transit™, for reliable client-based Adobe PDF generation for proofing and production while CentralPDF™ is used for server-based PDF creation. Users receive an online proof and job cost estimate prior to initiating print production. WebCRD 3.0 provides authorized access to private and shared folders (including robust group definition functionality), powerful finishing options, table-driven cost estimating, and targeted data extracts simplify chargeback/invoice reporting and interfacing to other systems.
