CGS Features Staedtler HP5000/5500 UV Ink Refill System for Sign Market
Press release from the issuing company
Minneapolis, MN (March 31, 2003) -- At the 2003 International Sign Expo in Las Vegas, CGS (Booth 303) will be featuring the latest offering from Staedtler Inkjet: a high quality pigment-based refill system for the Hewlett-Packard 5000/5500 UV devices. The Staedtler inks are significantly less expensive than comparable HP inks, providing sign businesses and other customers a cost savings of up to 50%
The Staedtler 5000/5500 inks are fully color-compatible with their HP counterparts, removing the need to re-calibrate printers or change media. The system also includes a new UV communicator, allowing even completely empty HP cartridges to be re-used. The Staedtler inks have also eliminated the odor problems commonly associated with the HP inks.
CGS is the sole master distributor for Staedtler inkjet products in the United States.
At theLas Vegasshow, CGS will also be showing ORIS Color Tuner 5, its color-managed proofing and output system for inkjet devices. The latest version offers unique benefits to the sign market, including precise control of spot color output. (Spot color accuracy is a perennial issue for sign makers.) The software accepts all major digital file types, and can manage spot colors and CMYK independently.
