MAN Roland Awards Scholarships to PIA/GATF Leadership Institute

ALEXANDRIA, VA --March 18, 2003-- MAN Roland, Inc. announced the winners of their two scholarships to the Printing Industries of America/Graphic Arts Technical Association (PIA/GATF) Leadership Institute to be held April 2-6, 2003 at Hickory Ridge Conference Center near Chicago, IL. Scholarships were given in the names of the late Harry Quadracci, Quad Graphics, WI and Larry B. Perkins, P&P Press, IL. More than 15 applications for these scholarships were received, all from excellent, highly qualified individuals who are the cream of the crop at their respective companies. MAN Roland will provide full tuition and a $500 stipend toward expenses for the scholarship recipients. The winners are: Harry Quadracci Scholarship Keith Keubelbeck, Sheetfed Pressroom Manager, The John Roberts Company, Minneapolis, MN. Michael Keene, president of John Roberts, recommended Keubelbeck. "Keith has been our in-house technical expert providing guidance to our sheetfed operation to make it one of the most respected and sophisticated in our business. We feel strongly that Keith can develop into one of the future leaders at John Roberts with additional experiences such as the Leadership Institute." Larry Perkins Scholarship Bill Levinson, General Manager, Commercial Print Division, Henry Wurst Incorporated-Western Division, Denver, CO. James E. Herbst, president of Henry Wurst Incorporated recommended Levinson. "Several years ago, Bill started with Henry Wurst and was quickly identified as a high potential manager. Since that time, he has risen to the ranks of general manager. He has done an outstanding job in this capacity. Bill will benefit greatly from the Leadership Institute experience."
