NexPress Solutions Names Vp Of Global Sales For Color Business Unit

ROCHESTER, N.Y. –– NexPress Solutions LLC announced today the appointment of Alexander van Meeuwen as vice president of global sales for its color business unit.
Van Meeuwen’s focus will be on global sales channel management, and he will work closely with Heidelberg market centers to help drive worldwide sales of the NexPress 2100 digital production color press.
With more than 20 years of experience in the graphic arts industry, van Meeuwen joins NexPress from Esna Ltd., where he spent two years as chairman and interim chief executive officer. Prior to that, he served as president of Agfa Corp.’s Graphic Systems business unit, and director of Agfa–Gevaert Ltd.’s Graphic and Office Systems divisions.

Van Meeuwen holds a doctoral degree in business economics, specializing in marketing, from the University of Rotterdam. He is a board member of New York University’s Center of Graphic Communications, Management and Technology, and a former board member of the National Printing Equipment Association, and Picon, an organization representing UK suppliers to the printing industry. He and his wife, Bettine, reside with their daughter, Emilie, in West New York, N.J.
