Creo Users Association Conference to Focus on Growth & Profitability

Press release from the issuing company

VANCOUVER, B.C., CANADA -- March 11, 2003 -- More than 64 percent of surveyed printing executives cited effective marketing as their number one obstacle to growth, according to The NAPL 2002-2003 State of the Industry Report, published annually by the National Association for Printing Leadership. This is just one of the critical issues to be discussed by members of the Creo Users Association (CUA) at the 2003 CUA Annual Conference to be held May 28 to 31, 2003 at the Renaissance Vinoy Resort and Golf Club in St. Petersburg, Florida. CEOs, owners and managers will address the principal challenges facing print organizations today: strategic differentiation; marketing strategies; and finding effective methods for growth in tough economic times. "Every year, the CUA presents a number of talks that executives of mid-sized and large printing plants just don't want to miss," says Rich Dunklee, CUA president. "Whether the topic is dealing with an unstable market or achieving operational efficiency, it's a unique occasion to share common problems, find out what successful organizations are doing to conquer these hurdles, and how Creo technology can help. Experience-based information can really make a difference in times like these." The conference is a great opportunity to hear how high-performance companies drive profitability, as well as to network with colleagues to create new business opportunities. Featured sessions include forecasting and preparing for the future of the industry, as well as panels on selling and distinguishing print communication services. The CUA is an independent network of users of Creo systems worldwide. All products manufactured by Creo are represented by the association, which promotes effective communication between users, Creo developers and company leadership. The fee for the CUA conference is US$795 per delegate plus travel and hotel accommodation. Delegates who are confirmed to attend by April 30 will receive a free certificate valued at US$1,500 towards the purchase of Creo software. To electronically register for the conference or CUA membership, or to obtain details of the special offer, please visit www.creousers.org.
