Rolling Meadows, IL March 4, 2003 — alfaQuest Technologies, Inc. (formerly Monotype Systems,Inc.) and Krause-Biagosch GmbH have announced an Agreement whereby alfaQuest is the exclusive reseller to newspapers in the U.S. and Canada. The agreement relates to the distribution of the Krause LS Jet 200 and LS Jet 300 CTP systems, which will be marketed under the name alfaJet 200 and
alfaJet 300.
The alfaJet may be equipped with either the well proven FD-NdYAG laser or the rising violet laser diode to image the plate of your choice. A resolution range from 1 to 2.540 dpi is available in order to match your individual production requirements. The alfaJet offers the possibility to load up to 600 single or 300 panorama plates with a maximum exposure size of up to 25.2" x 37" (640 mm x 940 mm).
