PITTSBURGH, PA (February 18, 2003) - Printcafe Software, the operating system for print(tm), today announced that Precision Technology Inc. has gone live with the Printcafe Logic print management system. Precision Technology selected Logic to help them better manage their business.
"The Logic system tracks our production costs and helps us to determine which projects are most profitable for us," said Ron Boyarsky, President of Precision Technology Inc. "The job costing functionality is great. We can easily gather data that is concise and easy to digest."
Servicing large, well-known clients throughout New York and the Northeast, Precision Technology is a full-service, one-stop shop offering forms printing, lettershop, bindery and mailing.
"Since we're such a diversified company, running five unique operations simultaneously, we rely on the Logic job ticket to keep the entire company connected," Boyarsky said. Logic's Electronic Job Ticket helps Precision Technology track jobs through their facility and allows everyone in the plant to quickly access job status from their desktop. The electronic ticket is a dynamically generated form built with real-time job information. The user can design a single ticket for all departments or multiple tickets for unique processes.
Precision Technology employs nearly 200 people, running three shifts and has annual revenues of more than $32 million.
