NUR Macroprinters Installs 200th NUR Fresco Wide-Format Digital Printer

Press release from the issuing company

LOD, Israel, Feb. 13 -- NUR Macroprinters, a leading global supplier of wide-format and superwide digital printing systems and consumables for out-of-home advertising, today announced that it recently installed the 200th unit in its NUR Fresco™ series of wide-format digital production presses. Nogales, a 15-year-old sign company based in Barcelona, Spain, that specializes in exhibition and display graphics, has installed the 200th NUR Fresco, a NUR HiQ 8C 3200 (capable of producing output 3.2 meters or 10.5 ft. wide). The new machine will operate as a complement to the NUR Salsa™ Ultima 3200 entry-level photorealistic printer which Nogales has been operating for over a year. The NUR Fresco printers' combination of high speed, quality and productivity has made them one of the best-selling wide-format production printers on the market today. NUR Macroprinters has been selling NUR Fresco models to digital print service providers, billboard and media companies, photo labs and screen printers since early 2000. "When we first launched the NUR Fresco series in 2000, we believed it would set a new competitive benchmark for wide format digital production printing in terms of quality, versatility and productivity," says Ron Michael, VP marketing at NUR Macroprinters, Ltd. "The product has received excellent reviews around the world and a high degree of market acceptance. With the recent addition of the NUR Fresco HiQ 8C models, and the new X-Press 100 mode that enables NUR Frescos to print up to 100 square meters (1100 square feet) per hour, we believe the machines are more versatile than ever and appeal to an even wider range of businesses. The NUR Fresco product line remains our most popular and fastest selling printer series." "Reaching the 200th NUR Fresco is a real milestone for us, further reinforcing the success of the machine worldwide," says Erez Shachar, president and CEO of NUR Macroprinters Ltd. "We are proud of the strong market acceptance of this product and the increasing recognition that it's a real 'workhorse' that users can count on. In fact, we have more than 30 sites around the world operating two or more Frescos; one site actually runs six Frescos side by side!"
