X-Rite Names New Board Members

GRANDVILLE, Mich.--Feb. 12, 2003--X-Rite, today announced the appointment of two new members to its Board of Directors. * Paul R. Sylvester, 43, is the President and CEO of Manatron, Inc., a public company, headquartered in Michigan. Manatron is a leading provider of property tax and appraisal software and services for local governments in the United States. Sylvester joined Manatron in 1987 as Vice President of Finance and CFO, and was promoted to his current position in 1996. Sylvester has also served on Manatron's Board of Directors since 1987. * Mark D. Weishaar, 44, is the President and CEO of Sturgis Molded Products, a custom injection molding company serving the automotive and medical industries, headquartered in Michigan. Weishaar has held this position since 1997. Previously, Weishaar worked as the Vice President of Business Development at Moore Corporation Limited, a multi-billion dollar business forms company, and as a Managing Partner for BDO Seidman, LLP, Chicago. "The appointment of these senior executives will strengthen our Board and reaffirm its commitment to providing X-Rite shareholders the expertise and independence necessary to govern this Company," said John E.
