Press release from the issuing company

Graphic Type Mexico has announced that its Spanish Language version of GRACoL 5.0 is available for purchase and distribution. Joseph Staszak, President of Graphic Type Mexico, said "The rapidly developing Latin American printing market has been in need for such an effective training publication. GRACoL continues to be the most current educational publication on offset lithography in the world, and we are honored to be a part of this effort. We have completed the translation and printing of the Spanish version, and will soon begin the translation of the Portuguese version. Our supporters are as excited as we are to bring process control and repeatability into Latin American pressrooms." David Steinhardt, President and CEO of IDEAlliance, stated: "The undeniable expertise and integrity that Graphic Type Mexico can bring to an international agreement made this possible. Our mission is to develop standards and best practices for our printing and publishing partners, and we have been made aware of the usefulness of GRACoL for Latin America. This has been a combined effort to improve quality and maintain printing as a competitive communication medium. According to David Hultin, Director of Print Initiatives for IDEAlliance, "GRACoL has been growing internationally alongside the need for process control in the printing process. The Latin American Spanish translation is well timed to permit customers to become familiar with GRACoL in anticipation for the first fully certified specification for commercial printing that we expect to be completed this year. It will be a standard." Graphic Type Mexico has been involved in Spanish language technical publishing and training in Latin America since 1993.
