Belfort, France - (January 21, 2003)- Nipson SAS, developer and manufacturer of state-of-the-art high-speed digital black and white printing systems, announced today that Sven Verghote, the general manager of Nipson UK Ltd., has been appointed as Chief Operating Officer of Nipson SAS. In his new position, Verghote has the overall responsibility for customer services, logistics, manufacturing, order administration, sales support and product marketing. He reports directly to Marc Blanpain, President of Nipson SAS. "In little more that eight months since the take over, Nipson's focus and commitment to the high speed production digital printing market have resulted in positive business results," says Nipson SAS' President Marc Blanpain. "Under Sven's leadership, Nipson UK has gained market share and won new costumers in Great Britain. With his track record of solid results and experience in operations and customer service, we are confident that he will contribute to further strengthening our customer focus and to the continued growth of our business". Prior to joining Nipson, in 1997 Verghote started as a Product Manager with Xeikon N.V. Since November 2000 he served as the General Manager for Nipson UK Ltd. Verghote received his Master in Engineering from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium and got his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales (EDHEC), Lille, France.
