Foxfire Printing and Packaging names Director of Business Development for Foxfire Signs

Newark, DE – May 30, 2007 - Foxfire, which acquired the Dismar product line in September of 2006, has named Gunnar H. Spencer, Director of Business Development for Foxfire Signs. Gunnar will be responsible for all business operations relating to Foxfire Signs including marketing, product development and customer relations. Gunnar brings a wealth of retail knowledge to Foxfire Signs. Before joining Foxfire, Gunnar had 23 years of Retail Operating Management experience with Dollar General and Eckerd Drugs. At Eckerd, he developed one of the most successful and comprehensive sign programs in the industry for over 2800 stores. His effort included an extensive analysis of sign effectiveness in attracting customer attention and generating an attractive ROI for signs. This led to a complete overhaul of the Eckerd sign program including design, saturation, installation and store training programs to improve execution. Gunnar’s efforts resulted in improved sales and profits for Eckerd. Bob Dyer, formerly Sr. Director of Marketing and Advertising at Eckerd Drugs stated “Our sign execution went from 67% to 87% after the implementation of the new signing programs Gunnar had put in place. The positive impact from his new designs along with the improved execution, increased our sales and gross margins through impulse sales of advertised and non-advertised products which we were able to validate through internal POS data and an independent study by KPMG.” Gunnar’s knowledge and expertise will help to better serve Foxfire’s customers by providing direction certain to maximize their sales potential through the use of effective signing programs offered by Foxfire Signs.
