Press release from the issuing company
HUDSON, N.H., Dec. 3 -- Presstek, Inc., a leading provider of direct digital imaging technology, today announced that Paul Williams has been appointed to the position of Regional Sales Manager in the company's off-press business unit. In his new role, Mr. Williams is responsible for managing the distribution of the company's chemistry-free computer-to-plate ("CTP") products in the United Kingdom, Ireland and Scandinavia.
Presstek's Dimension CTP systems and Anthem thermal plates continue to gain market share. "More and more people are beginning to see the advantages of chemistry-free printing," said Paul Williams. "Cleaner, faster and more affordable than conventional plate imaging, Presstek's Dimension is no-hassle CTP. The Dimension series of products are particularly attractive to the small and mid-sized commercial printer, featuring a small footprint, the elimination of chemistry, and an easy-to-use interface. I'm very excited to join Presstek's European organization, and look forward to working closely with our distribution partners to further establish Presstek's CTP solutions in the market."
David Ventola, general manager of Presstek's off-press business said, "Paul brings to Presstek more than 20 years experience in the printing industry and significant experience in selling CTP systems. We are delighted to have Paul join our off-press team. As regional sales manager, Paul's focus will be on building a strong market position for Presstek's off-press products within his territory."
