Color-Tec Launches Powerful Software Tools for Formulation Chemists

Press release from the issuing company

Dynamic Software Program Accelerates Formulation Development Clinton, New Jersey (October, 2002) -- Color-Tec Associates, Inc, announced the launch of a new set of powerful Windows software tools for the Formulation Chemist to be called FORMULATOR. This dynamic package provides all of the latest graphics tools and calculation power of the Windows environment to aid Formulation Chemist’s rapid development of new formulations as well as modification and improvement of old formulations. Freed from transaction limitations of most other packages, FORMULATOR allows complete cut and paste tools from multiple formulas at multiple levels with full calculation of performance properties, cost calculations and variable weights and measure as the formula is created. Tested by experienced Formulation Chemists from the Paint, Specialty Chemicals, Cosmetics, Food and Ink Industries, the consensus is that "this is the package they always dreamed of". In addition to developing new formulas, FORMULATOR also allows the Chemist to define Quality Control Tests, output test batch tickets and archive test results as the development of the formulation progresses. A new web site www.formulatorus.com has been developed to show many of the features of FORMULATOR. The software program will be available on CD to be tested live at no charge by qualified Formulation Chemists. Literature and the free live CD are available from the company. Scheduled for release shortly is a companion program, REGULATOR to output MSDS for formulas developed with FORMULATOR. Color-Tec develops and markets technologically advanced Windows PC software and color instrumentation for industrial applications, batch process manufacturing and point-of-sale color merchandising.
