StaffingTools.com Awarded Contract by The San Diego Union-Tribune

Bloomington, IN, Nov 4, 2002 - StaffingTools.com announced today it has been awarded a contract with The San Diego Union-Tribune, the nation's 21st largest newspaper, to provide testing, training and custom development services. StaffingTools is a national service provider and with this contract, StaffingTools will design customized training programs to meet the needs of the newspaper industry. "We had many goals in mind when choosing a partner to help standardize our training programs. With twelve locations in the San Diego area, we needed to leverage a provider with national focus that could still provide us with a high level of service for our local offices," said Kimi Macias, Team Operations Manager for The San Diego Union-Tribune. "StaffingTools' dedication has proven they are truly committed to our business and its requirements. We are enthusiastic about our relationship with StaffingTools to deliver cost-effective online training to our staff." StaffingTools will combine its library of tests and training with new custom training courses specific to the Union-Tribune and consistent with newspaper performance standards and quality assurance measures. As part of its services, StaffingTools will develop training for the Morcor Solutions, Xpance advertising management system. The StaffingTools Learning Management System will be used to track and manage testing and training for Union-Tribune advertising production staff.
