ImageX Receives Four Patent Notices of Allowance

KIRKLAND, Wash., Nov. 4 - ImageX (R), Inc., the leading provider of online solutions for distributing, managing and producing sales and marketing materials, today announced it has received four additional notices of allowance on its innovative print production technology. To date, the company holds six patents, four notices of allowance, and more than 40 patents pending on its technology. The four patent notices cover the automation of color separation and trapping prepress processes as well as the technology that allows for the infinite scalability of an automated print production process. "Our growing patent portfolio is added proof that the ImageX technology is unique to the print production industry," said Rich Begert, president and CEO. "With six patents in hand and four more to issue shortly, we believe we are well-positioned to further capitalize on being the first to invent technology that fully automates the production of printed materials."
