BOWE SYSTEC Demonstrates its Newest Products at Xplor 2002
Press release from the issuing company
Anaheim, October 27th – October 30th, 2002: BOWE SYSTEC, a leading provider of intelligent automated mailing, plastic card and cutting systems continues to introduce new innovative products and features to compliment its current comprehensive range of system solutions. On display at the BOWE SYSTEC booth #1013 at Xplor 2002 are the latest technological advances in high speed inserting systems, high speed input devices, flexible feeding devices, and automated setup features.
At a speed of 22,000 env/hr., the new Turbo 22 combines’ application versatility and flexibility at a level of performance unsurpassed in the industry. Incorporating the very latest in inserting system technology, the Turbo 22 delivers the highest level of document security, integrity, functionality and value. Utilizing its superior vertical material transport design, the Turbo 22 ensures effective and reliable processing of a wide variety of formats and applications.
The new 380 Stream Pinless Cutter and 590 Speed Cut Sheet Feeder meet the demand for high volume multi–page applications by providing increased feeding speeds to the inserting system. Demonstrated as an input device on both the Marathon and Turbo 22 Inserting systems at Xplor 2002, the 380 Stream Pinless Cutter utilizes BOWE SYSTEC’s innovative "Paper Loop System" material transport design for greater control of the form enabling faster feeding and higher cutting performance. The 590 Speed, demonstrated on the Turbo 22, combines a unique level of speed and document format flexibility in a single input device.
The BOWE SYSTEC Marathon Inserting System, recently introduced to the U.S. market, demonstrates its extensive application range with the incorporation of the latest developments in feeding technology. Designed exclusively to meet the requirements of high volume, high speed inserting environments, the new Folding Feeder module utilizes leading edge material handling techniques to ensure reliable feeding at high speeds. The integrated folding unit provides application flexibility for intelligent processing of cut sheet documents as a primary or secondary input channel. In addition, a new CD Feeder enclosure module is integrated into the system and demonstrated for the first time in the U.S. Another example of how the Marathon platform is designed for growth in the future and can be further enhanced and expanded to meet tomorrow’s industry requirements.
With the ability to process a wide variety of applications on a single inserting system platform, it becomes critical to offer systems that minimize the time required to change over between applications. BOWE SYSTEC offers this feature with the new Motor Driven Infeed channel. Through an operator selection of the job to be processed, the system automatically adjusts the infeed components to process the document formats and fold requirements of the application. Setup time by the operator is significantly reduced thereby increasing production time.
BOWE SYSTEC invites you to attend a live demonstration of all these new products and features at the BOWE SYSTEC Booth #1013.
