Former Wallace Exec Jere Ames-Johnson now President of The Whitley Company

AUSTIN, TX. October 7, 2002 - Jere Ames-Johnson has been appointed President of The Whitley Company. As President, he will be responsible for operations, sales, and new business development. Mr. Ames-Johnson is a third generation printer, and brings with him over 25 years of commercial printing experience. He recently served as President of Heritage Press, a Wallace company, in Dallas Texas. Prior to that, he was President and Director of Miller Johnson Inc (a privately held sheetfed commercial printing company). Mr. Ames-Johnson holds a BA degree in economics from Tufts University; is a Past President of Rotary International; and has been a Director of numerous Civic Organizations. Under his leadership, both Heritage Press and Miller Johnson experienced a robust growth with increased quality, and improved customer responsiveness.
