New CN3102e Controller Now Available for Minolta DiALTA CF Series Color Printer/Copiers
FOSTER CITY, Calif.--Oct. 23, 2002--Electronics For Imaging, the world leader in software and hardware imaging solutions for network printing, and Minolta Corporation, today announced the availability of the CN3102e embedded controller for Minolta's DiALTA CF3102 31-page per minute and CF2002 20-page per minute color printer/copiers. Based on EFI's Fiery X3e+ technology and Fiery System 5e software, the CN3102e built-in controller offers easy-to-use software that delivers superior color quality, increased functionality, and powerful productivity to workgroup and general office environments.

EFI's Fiery System 5e software features cutting-edge color management tools and a comprehensive suite of EFI's industry-leading technologies. The latest Fiery ColorWise in-RIP color management system provides "out-of-the-box" color quality, enabling even non-expert users to achieve color output that is consistently accurate across platforms and applications. The easy-to-use EFI Command WorkStation(TM) interface gives users complete print job management and color control from one central location. The ability to produce personalized direct marketing campaigns is also available using EFI's Fiery FreeForm(TM) technology for printing variable data. In addition, the CN3102e solution includes new `Scan to FTP' and `Scan to Internet Fax' features, providing ideal tools for individuals in corporate environments to easily convert hard copy documents into digital files and share them over local networks or intranets.
