CHICAGO--Oct. 5, 2002--Electronics For Imaging, the world leader in software and hardware imaging solutions for network printing, and Xerox Corporation today introduced Splash(TM) G640, the only high performance graphic arts color server that takes full advantage of Apple's state-of-the-art operating system, Mac OS X. EFI's Splash G640 color server delivers precise color management, seamless workflow and enhanced productivity to users of the Xerox DocuColor 12 Copier/Printer and Laser Printer.

The Xerox DocuColor 12 has received numerous industry awards in recognition of its high-quality color output, consistency and reliability, and is widely viewed as the leading color output device in its class. Designed for use in color-intensive environments, such as graphic design and digital color production facilities, the DocuColor 12 produces 12.5 color pages per minute (ppm) and 50 monochrome ppm. It is available as a printer /copier and as a stand-alone printer.
The Splash G640 is on display at the Graph Expo show in the EFI (#4853) and Xerox (#1016) booths. Graph Expo takes place October 6-9 at McCormick Place Convention Center in Chicago, Illinois.
