Integria Sees Savings with Printcafe Logic

Press release from the issuing company

One of Montreal’s Largest Printing Plants Saves Time and Sees Their Business More Clearly with the Printcafe Logic Print Management System PITTSBURGH, PA (August 12, 2002) - Printcafe Software, Inc, the operating system for print, today announced that Integria of Montreal, Canada, has gone live with the Printcafe Logic print management system. Integria, previously part of the Bowne Printing Group, was formed in June 2001 by a management buyout and is now one of the largest capacity independent printing plants in Montreal. Printcafe’s print management systems enable printers to lower costs, improve productivity and increase revenues. These software solutions provide tools which facilitate efficient and accurate completion of each print production job by automating purchasing, operations and financial functions within the printing plant. The solution integrates estimating, order entry, scheduling, job tickets, purchasing, inventory control, job tracking, shipping and billing into a single package designed specifically for the mid-market printer. A new version of the product, Printcafe Logic SQL, running on Microsoft’s popular SQL database, has just been released. "When we were starting out on our new business venture we knew that it was critical to choose the right management system," said Martin St. Pierre, Technical Service Manager at Integria. "With Printcafe Logic we can easily and immediately access the information we need to run our business. Printcafe also provides an excellent customer service team and it was a pleasant surprise to have the implementation process proceed so smoothly and quickly. Printcafe was clearly the right decision for Integria." As a leading offset printing company who services clients both in Canada and the US, one of the issues that Integria faced was to invoice in different currencies. "The Printcafe Logic solution provides the flexibility necessary to meet the unique needs of customers," said Maureen Sheldon, Product Manager at Printcafe Logic. "Our Professional Services Group worked with Integria to build reports that would integrate with Printcafe Logic’s Invoicing module, thereby giving Integria the ability to invoice in different currencies." "The introduction of the Printcafe Logic system has been greatly received by the staff at Integria and we particularly like the fact that Printcafe Logic gives us the ability to personalize job tickets," said St. Pierre. "In the past, all of our business processes were separate and it took a long time to collect all the information and then we had to re-key it. Now all of the processes are integrated and we have a clear view of how our business is performing."
