Independent Forum Focuses on Heidelberg's Sophisticated Prepress and Automation Technologies
SOLANA BEACH, CA, March 21, 2002 – Printable Technologies (www.printable.com), the leading online software provider for the graphic arts industry, has launched PrintPlanet's MetaDelta Forum ([email protected]
) in partnership with Lucid Dream Software, Inc., the leading developer of enhancements for the Heidelberg Delta ROOM workflow.
MetaDelta Forum enables members to focus on the implementation, use and support of the sophisticated prepress and automation technologies of Heidelberg DruckMaschinen. David Lewis, President of Lucid Dream Software, is moderator of the forum.
Completely independent of Heidelberg DruckMaschinen, MetaDelta Forum discussions will cover technologies such as the popular Delta workflow solution and MetaDimensions, Heidelberg's PDF RIP and workflow solution.
Members also will have a forum roundtable to discuss other Heidelberg software such as SuperTrap, Jetbase, Prinect and Prinance, which are now just beginning to gain widespread industry usage. MetaDelta Forum also provides an environment for users to discuss integration and use issues with vendors of third-party solutions that enhance Heidelberg's technologies.
Commenting on the impact of the new forum, Mr. Lewis noted, "PrintPlanet's MetaDelta Forum is a tremendous resource for staying on top of new software and workflow solutions that can enhance the profitability of investments in Heidelberg's Delta RIP technology.
"All of us at Lucid Dream," he continued, "are very pleased to be partnering with Printable to launch and support the MetaDelta Forum on PrintPlanet. It establishes a communications platform that allows members to engage in the exchange of objective observations about the new Heidelberg technologies that are contributing significantly to the advance of graphics industry productivity."
