Tech Services International Signs Agreement with Sericol Imaging

Kennett Square, Pa. – Tech Services International LLC (TSI), has entered into an agreement with Sericol Imaging of Kansas City, Kan. to provide presite, installation, spare parts distribution and ongoing support for the Inca Digital Eagle 44 Ink Jet Flatbed Press. The terms of the agreement designate TSI as a service and support provider for Sericol’s installations in North America. Specifically, TSI will be implementing on site emergency and routine service, service contracts, telephone support, installation, training, spare parts warehousing and distribution, and front-end support. "TSI is known for their exemplary work in hardware and software support and workflow consultations to maximize production. This agreement offers us the opportunity to utilize the best service organization in North America without the investment of building our own group. TSI gives us the ability to be a full line service provider for our installations across the country," said Terry Amerine, Business Manager - Americas at Sericol Imaging. "This partnership benefits both TSI and Sericol Imaging by increasing our share of business in the screen printing market. As a premier supplier of technical services and support to the printing industry, we are happy to provide our skills and expertise to benefit Sericol and their clients, allowing them to focus on their main businesses," said Tim Baxter, Director of Strategic Planning for TSI. Sericol is the printing division of the Burmah Castrol Chemicals Group, which has recently been acquired by BP Amoco, and has extensive research and development facilities with over 80 chemists working in the UK, USA, India and Australia. Sericol Imaging, the ink jet division of Sericol, is focused on the rapidly expanding digital printing industry, developing and manufacturing novel ink systems for the drop-on-demand ink jet market. TSI is a nationwide service company dedicated to the printing industry. Employing more than 240 technical, applications and logistics personnel throughout North America, TSI specializes in both conventional and electronic imaging systems, and offers many innovative service options to OEMs, dealers and end-users.
