Screen Europe Trueflow Embraces Enfocus Certified PDF Technology
Press release from the issuing company
New Enfocus Instant PDF Solution and PitStop Professional to be bundled with Screen Trueflow Ghent, Belgium, 6 March 2002 - Enfocus Software and Screen Europe today announce an agreement to integrate Enfocus Certified PDF technology into Trueflow, the digital workflow solution from Screen. The agreement paves the way for the recently-released Enfocus Instant PDF and Enfocus PitStop Professional to be bundled into the Screen digital workflow software. Instant PDF is Enfocus' tool for PDF Document Creators, while PitStop Professional is the all-in-one interactive editing and automated correction tool. The result of the technology partnership will see Screen Trueflow users able to include PDF preflighting and file correction functionality into the already comprehensive feature-set of Trueflow. It will also provide Trueflow users with the unprecedented reliability and predictability that results from Enfocus' Certified PDF technology.
From now on, one copy of Enfocus PitStop Professional and two copies of Instant PDF will be included in each copy of the Screen Trueflow software sold in Europe. Screen Europe does not, however, propose to increase the price of the Trueflow software as a result of the added PDF functionality, but rather sees the upgrade as an added-value benefit for its expanding customer-base.
Peter Camps, Enfocus CEO, commented on the agreement: "We are extremely pleased to count Screen Europe among our partners offering digital workflow solutions embracing our Certified PDF technology. We believe that this is yet another confirmation of the success of our PDF preflighting and correction tools in anticipating and meeting market demands. We look forward in expanding this relationship further."
Phil Eaves, European Marketing Manager at Screen agrees that the integration will result in a software package that is truly compatible with market demands: "The number of PDF files being generated in our industry is growing rapidly and Enfocus Software is clearly a leading developer of PDF preflighting and correction technology. Set against this growth in PDF usage, our integration agreement comes at the right time. Now Enfocus Instant PDF will enable Trueflow users to create and exchange PDF documents in full confidence. It will ensure users are fully equipped to accept a wide variety of file formats."
Screen's Trueflow solutions offers users a high functionality, easy-to-use digital workflow system with a wide range of applications. One of the key features of the Web browser interface is the ability to access the system from any location at anytime from anywhere. This gives users and their customers enormous potential for improved communications and building closer relationships.
