TOTOWA, NJ, March 4, 2002 – Pitman Company, the leading independent North American graphic arts supplier, has announced the appointment of Dave Archer as Branch Manager of its Hayward, California sales and distribution operations, serving customers in Northern California and Northern Nevada. Now marking his 26th year in the graphics arts industry, Mr. Archer had previously been with Litho Development and Research (LDR), one of the largest graphic arts suppliers in the western United States. Mr. Archer held various sales and management posts throughout the Pacific Northwest and Northern California during his 21 years with that company. In his first 15 years in sales with LDR, Mr. Archer was based in the Seattle market, moving in 1995 to the Bay Area. His most recent post, prior to joining the Pitman Company, was manager of LDR's San Francisco/Sacramento branch operations. Originally from the Portland, Oregon area, Mr. Archer is an alumnus of Chemeketa College in Salem, Oregon where he earned a degree in printing technology.
