Von Hoffmann Names Robert Mathews President and CEO

ST. LOUIS, Feb. 27, 2002 -- Von Hoffmann, a leading North American educational and commercial printer, has named Robert S. Mathews to the position of President and CEO. Mathews had been the President of Von Hoffmann Graphics for the previous two years. Robert A. Uhlenhop will assume the role of Chairman of Von Hoffmann Holdings, Incorporated.

Mathews has over 25 years of industry experience. Prior to joining Von Hoffmann, Mr. Mathews served in a number of senior management roles in both sales and manufacturing at several of the largest printing firms in the industry.
