CHICAGO, IL - Taking their “Everything You Need To Succeed” motto to another level, A.B.Dick Company this Friday will introduce a redesigned web site to the Internet. The contemporary electronic marketing device has been fortified with increased information and a bolder, more spirited look which accents the numerous upgrades and new features. The site exemplifies the electronic marketing zeal the company will further embrace next month with the introduction of an e-business solution to purchase printing supplies.
Designer and webmaster Lisa Zahler spent the last six months working on the new layout and development, and it shows. Sporting a cleaner design tablet using A.B.Dick’s signature colors, the comprehensive site features sleek, uncluttered pages and a toolbar promoting five main sections with topic-defined menus. Visitors will immediately view eye-catching graphics directing them to promotions and special offers, the company newsroom, or the toolbar that provides the option to click on Equipment, Supplies, Service, Events, or About A.B.Dick for more detailed information.
“The new web design looks great. We think customers will be pleased with the new features, fast-loading graphics, and how easy it is to navigate,” said Scott MacKenzie, A.B.Dick Vice President of Marketing. “Since we first went on-line in 1998, the site has grown substantially. We know based on the number of inquiries that customers have come to rely on our site as an information source.”
The ‘Equipment’ section offers expanded and detailed product descriptions in six different categories. All brochure information can be downloaded in PDF files. ‘Supplies’ include product catalogs, bi-weekly price specials, specification and instruction sheets, and technical tips and articles. ‘Events’ cover a wide range of domestic and international activities including national and international tradeshows, the Greatest Traveling Printshow, and Digital Seminar schedules. The ‘About A.B.Dick’ button offers a completely revised system to contact A.B.Dick locations and departments.
“The new design is fresh with updated information throughout,” said MacKenzie. “Combined with our new e-business solution for printing supplies that begins operations on April 2, we believe customers will appreciate these new initiatives.”
