EMCO Printers Names Doug Clott Executive Vice President

Everett, MA; February 13, 2002 - EMCO Printers, a $12 million, privately-held full-service commercial printing company in Everett, Massachusetts specializing in prepress and multicolor print production, has named printing industry veteran Douglas Clott as executive vice president of sales and marketing. In his new role, Mr. Clott is responsible for setting marketing strategy and directing the EMCO sales force in providing customized commercial printing solutions to companies primarily in the New England area. Of the appointment, EMCO president Michael J. Zografos said, "Doug Clott is a true printing industry professional who brings a wealth of sales, marketing and management experience in the printing industry to his new position with us. We look forward to Doug applying his many talents as part of the EMCO team and in helping to communicate our extensive capabilities and dedication to quality and responsiveness to our expanding customer base." Mr. Clott's experience in color printing spans nearly 30 years. A 1972 graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology, he initially sold printing services for Redson Rice, Chicago. Subsequently as president and owner of Merchants Press in Boston, he helped build that company into one of the area's premier six-color printers. Prior to joining EMCO, Mr. Clott held several marketing management positions at digital imaging leader Scitex Corporation, Bedford, Massachusetts, and more recently was Vice President of Sales and Marketing at offset press innovator, Karat Digital Press, North America.
