International Paper Introduces New Swatch Folder for Centennial Web Cover

Press release from the issuing company

Memphis, TN, February 5, 2002 - International Paper Commercial Printing & Imaging Papers has developed a new swatch folder to promote Centennial Web Cover, a new, cost-effective alternative to expensive enamels. Featuring an attractive blue-white shade at a 91 brightness level, and a smooth, even-sided print surface, Centennial Web Cover offers the performance of an enamel, yet at a more economical price. “Customer feedback played a major role in dictating the product attributes of this new C2S heatset web grade,” said Monica Klemens, Associate Brand Manager for Carolina Coated Cover. “In addition to a preference for a very blue-white shade, many customers also expressed a desire to have both 7 and 9-point products meet postal requirements.” Centennial Web Cover is available in four different calipers and basis weights, including 7 pt./70 lb.; 8 pt./75 lb.; 9 pt./84 lb.; and 10 pt./87 lb. Both the 7 pt. and 9 pt. products are USPS guaranteed. For more information on Centennial Web Cover from International Paper, please contact an International Paper Commercial Printing & Communications Papers distributor, or visit www.ipcommercialprinting.com. Samples of the new Centennial Web Cover Swatch Folder may be obtained by calling 1-800-221-0809.
