The 500 Series models using upgraded firmware are now shipping with new benefits that significantly boost productivity, performance and compatibility. New Features The 500 Series is the industry's only spectrally based densitometer line, with unparalleled accuracy, multi-site agreement, and unrivaled durability. New features include: - "Speed Read", a performance development that dramatically reduces the measurement time of successive measurements with the benefit of faster, more efficient operation. - "Match", which allows users to compare measured colors to stored reference colors from customer palettes or color guides such as PANTONE, enabling quick color assessments and reduced waste. - Formula Storage, allowing downloads of supplemental color recipes for any reference color. In the ink room or pressroom, users will appreciate this handy reference for mixing and matching colors quickly. In addition, the formulas can be generated using X-RiteColor Master software solutions. "The 500 Series combines the best of two worlds.
