New Xerox Paper Enhances Digital Color Printing

Press release from the issuing company

ROCHESTER, N.Y.--Feb. 1, 2002--Xerox has introduced Xerox Digital Color Xpressions+ paper, specifically engineered for superior color printing for the print shop and the office. Xerox Digital Color Xpressions+ is designed to maximize the capabilities of Xerox digital color printers and copiers. It can be used in creative applications where offset technology is used in conjunction with digital color printing and copying. The new offering adds to the Xerox family of digitally optimized paper products and provides significant improvements in print quality for color production as well as everyday office color copying and printing. Digital Color Xpressions+ is a premium No. 1 uncoated 96 bright sheet with a smooth surface and blue-white shade, providing a clean, crisp, professional image. The paper's high opacity and smooth surface enable high-quality two-sided printing, with extensive color coverage and without bleed-through. Xerox Digital Color Xpressions+ is ideal for a range of color documents, including brochures, presentations, reports, direct mailers, newsletters and training materials. "Digital Color Xpressions+ is an outstanding product family that helps customers create a wide assortment of professional color documents and bring maximum impact to everything they print and copy,'' said Stephen Simpson, vice president, marketing and strategy for document supplies, Xerox Supplies Business Group. "This means that customers get razor-sharp image quality, improved toner adhesion, more 'pop' in color printing and less dust contamination.'' The Xerox Digital Color Xpressions+ paper is available in a broad range of sizes and weights that allow customers to take advantage of the full range of equipment capabilities and produce more creative print applications. With matching bond and cover weights, print production managers can select one product family - with matching shade and quality - and expand their application range.
