ForestExpress Offers B2B Integration Plan to Industry Buyers

Press release from the issuing company

ATLANTA--Jan. 31, 2002-- ForestExpress has announced an exciting plan to help jumpstart e-commerce adoption among fine paper merchants/distributors and building materials pro dealers. ForestExpress will waive standard upfront B2B integration costs for qualified trading partners who sign a contract for integration services by March 31, 2002. These integration services will include a connection to the ForestExpress trading partner network. According to analyst estimates, up to 40 percent of internal IT budgets go to support company specific integration projects. Integrating just once to ForestExpress enables companies to use the ForestExpress network to connect to many of their strategic trading partners, other networks, and other business services. Instead of managing multiple partner connections to support each trading partner or activity, companies utilizing ForestExpress can leverage a single connection to reach a large number of trading partners or business services via a secure, industry-specific network. By choosing to integrate to ForestExpress, companies can reallocate resources originally allocated to building out point-to-point connections and infrastructure toward driving more strategic e-commerce activities.
