Press release from the issuing company
Aurora, IL, January 25, 2002 - PagePath Technologies' has released Version 9 of MyOrderDesk. The private labeled solution provides a sophisticated online workflow for print pros. The free upgrade includes enhancements to the existing SimpleSend and LAUNCH! file transfer options, the PDF2U print ready file output and proofing system, as well as the ezMerge variable data input, proofing, approval and file output system.
"I am a very new printer. It's hard starting up and staying ahead of the pack," says to Rosetta George, owner, By George! Advertising & Printing. "MyOrderDesk has given me an edge that I greatly appreciate."
With the upgraded system, printers, reprographers, signmakers, and copyshops, etc. can easily add an automated system for file transfer, order entry, re-order, proofing, and approval. After receiving a customer's order, the shop's MyOrderDesk system can automatically create a proof for the customer, notify the shop's staff, request approval from the customer's appropriate supervisor, or purchasing agent, and create a print ready output file.
"Even for the experienced shop owner, the MyOrderDesk workflow system will improve productivity in the prepress/DTP department. It's a great time saver whether you're frustrated by Word's text reflow, hate wasting time typesetting faxed business card orders, or want to reduce time spent on activities the customer could do on their own," said Steve Ciesemier, vice-president, PagePath Technologies, Inc. "For those looking to provide enhanced customer service while reducing the cost of doing business,
MyOrderDesk is worth a serious look," he added.
A free Trial of MyOrderDesk can be obtained at PagePath's Web site: www.PagePath.com. A demonstration site is located at www.PrintVia.com.
