Kinko's Appoints Leslie Klaassen As Senior VP, General Counsel and Secretary

DALLAS, Feb. 19 -- Kinko's, Inc., a leading provider of document solutions and business services, has announced the appointment of Leslie Klaassen as senior vice president, general counsel and secretary. In this role, Ms. Klaassen will oversee Kinko's legal services team and its work, including sales and vendor contracts and negotiations, real estate, intellectual property, technology, international and litigation matters. "Kinko's welcomes Leslie to our executive team. She is a talented and enthusiastic individual with an impressive legal background,'' said Gary Kusin, Kinko's president and CEO. "Her experience working with well-known, established organizations makes her a valuable addition to Kinko's.'' Ms. Klaassen brings with her many years of experience in corporate law, acting as assistant general counsel for Fujitsu Network Communications, Inc. and as an associate with Hughes & Luce, L.L.P. After law school, she served as a law clerk for Judge Irving Goldberg on the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit in Dallas. Her law career first began in 1986 as a paralegal for Ericsson, Inc. Ms. Klaassen has served on the board of directors for the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers and the Center for the Help of Abused and Neglected Children Advisory Board. She completed both her juris doctorate and bachelor's degree from Southern Methodist University with high honors. Leslie also received the West Publishing Company Award for the most outstanding qualitative and quantitative editorial contribution to the Southwestern Law Journal.
