Hillyard Elected Vice President and Controller for Weyerhaeuser

FEDERAL WAY, Wash.-Dec. 17, 2001--Weyerhaeuser reports that Steven J. Hillyard, assistant corporate controller, has been elected vice president and controller effective Jan. 1, 2002. He replaces Kenneth J. Stancato who will retire July 1, 2002.
Hillyard, who was elected assistant corporate controller in June, joined Weyerhaeuser's tax department in 1972. He moved to Weyerhaeuser Real Estate Company (WRECO) in 1981 as assistant controller. He was elected vice president/controller for WRECO in 1985 and appointed vice president-finance and administration in 1995. In 1999, Hillyard accepted the position of director of internal audit for Weyerhaeuser Company, a position he held until becoming assistant corporate controller.
