Press release from the issuing company
Dec. 13 2001 - Prismatic Inc.’s Prismatic Commercial Print Controller software, combined with the Techkon RS400 hand scanning densitometer, provides an affordable quality control system for sheet-fed and web printing. An entire color bar can be measured in a matter of seconds using the Prismatic hand scanning table.
The system includes software, hand scanning densitometer and scanning table. Turn-key systems with computer and touch screen monitor are also available. Scanning tables are available in a range of sizes. The hand scanning densitometer takes eight readings per millimeter for accurate results and can also be used for single readings.
The software displays density, dot gain, print contrast, trap and color balance for CMYK all on one screen and supports the monitoring of special colors. Trend displays, histogram reports and data export features are built-in. Job data is compatible with the free Prismatic Commercial Print Controller Reader software allowing managers, salespersons or customers to review the results.
