Press release from the issuing company
NEENAH, Wis.-Dec. 10 2001 --Outlook Group Corp. has signed a five-year production services agreement with U.S. Postcard Systems, the franchisor for RSVP Publications of Clearwater, Fla. Outlook Group will serve as the primary coordinated production resource for RSVP franchisees, providing printing, packaging and mailing services for the distribution of RSVP's advertising postcard packages to upscale homeowners.
RSVP franchisees can still select their own suppliers, but Outlook’s President, Joe Baksha says he believes that with the dedicated equipment, services and pricing they are providing, they will be able to receive a most of this business. “This has the potential to be a multi-million dollar contract over the five year period.''
Larry Golden, executive vice president of RSVP Publications said, "Outlook Group and RSVP are already strong partners through the relationship we have developed over the past three years. Outlook Group consistently provides a high quality product, on schedule, which helps our franchisees to grow their business. We look forward to building on this relationship in the years ahead.''
Added Baksha, "This agreement comes on the heels of a recently signed five-year contract packaging agreement with a major consumer products company. These contracts are part of our strategy to increase our number of long-term projects. Long-term commitments provide numerous benefits including the ability to stabilize our sales base through advance planning for projects and to continually refine the production process to improve profitability.''
Formed in 1985, RSVP mails individually addressed postcard decks featuring a selected group of upscale products and services to over seven million owner-occupied homes in more than 75 markets in the U.S. The company distributes more than 25 million postcard packs each year.
