UNIPRIX and Transcontinental Sign Seven Year $75 Million Deal

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--UNIPRIX and Transcontinental have announced a major seven-year contract worth about $75 million. Transcontinental will provide a turnkey service that includes the design, prepress, printing and distribution by Publi-Sac of about two million flyers per week for the network of some 200 drugstores affiliated with UNIPRIX across Quebec.

With over 235 points of sale under the Uniprix and Uniclinique banners, Uniprix inc. is the second largest chain of owner-operated drugstores in Quebec. Annual sales for head office and points of sale combined are $860 million.
