NexPress Implements MediaBank Digital Asset Management Solution

LONGWOOD, Fl., December 4, 2001 WAVE Corporation, a leading provider of digital asset management solutions with MediaBank, today announced that is has entered into an agreement with NexPress, a joint venture between Eastman Kodak Company and Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG (Heidelberg). Under terms of the agreement, WAVE Corporation has delivered redundant enterprise digital asset management systems to NexPress facilities in the US and Europe.
Working with WAVE engineers, NexPress has successfully completed data replication using high bandwidth connections between MediaBank enterprise servers in its Rochester, NY, and Kiel, Germany facilities. Users in both locations can now share a common database of media assets used with the NexPress 2100 digital color press.
